Remember the time you thought you never could survive? You did, and you can do it again.

“The lesbian gaze meant that there was a contemplation, a restraint, a sincerity and a warrior quality, you might say. This lesbian look was compelling. While your heterosexual woman model might compel the rest of the world to look at her, a lesbian was addressing you.”

“she used to taste
something like today
all December 1st,
crisp air and promise
the maybe of southern snow
always overhead
I could never tell
when she would blanket me
with her everything,
her soft that was always
hidden away behind
too big sweaters
and steaming mugs-
it is easier to not look
directly at someone
in the Winter
when the wind chill
makes your eyes water
and you know,
there is a chance
everyone else feels
as heavy as you do
but is better at hiding it.
and neither of us
were ever any good
at keeping our eyes
open”- snowed senses || O.L.

Speculations
NYC-based artist Sarah Meyohas creates infinite tunnels that are created with facing mirrors set against pastel backdrops. Smoke, flowers, and finger tips border the reflective surfaces, creating dream-like environments that pull the viewer deep into the image’s frame.
